It’s funny, when you want something done right you might as well NOT do it yourself and pay someone who has actual expertise in the trade

That’s what happened when my girlfriend wanted to start a blog about clothes and such. She thought that she could do all of the SEO and online marketing advertisements herself because she thought it was a soft talent. I told her that if she wanted to be successful all she needed to do was to find an Advertising Agency that has good results and a solid portfolio and along with that was price competitive. Let me walk you thought what she did. She essentially went to the library, picked out a book that was already ten years old then start to skim read it, after that she read a few blog articles from sites that to me look like they have been scrapped. Then she spent time, I mean a lot of time testing out methods that where outdated spending her own money and loosing big on the PPC scale.

So did she give up and just say I can’t do it anymore and move on to other things?

No she stuck with it until I secretly took control of her site and found the ad agency I thought could help her out. All of a sudden a few months later she was landing decent traffic and kept working hard on the part she actually cared about that that was the material on the blog, not the SEO and other crap that she shouldn’t have worried about in the first place. When you want it done right, find someone who can actually do it.

I’m a local from Bend, Ore., and a patron of the Central Oregon Breeze charter service. Need to catch a flight out of Portland? Need to get away for the weekend? I recommend using the Central Oregon Breeze for any of your Bend to Portland (or vice versa) needs.

The charter service, open since 1992, has grown from one van to six vehicles and offers great customer service as well as arrival in a timely fashion. 362 days a year there is a bus that leaves from the Sugarloaf Mt. Motel at 7 a.m. and heads out to Portland with several stops along the way for Redmond and Madras folks. This same bus will stop several times before arriving at its final destination, the Portland Amtrak Station.

True to its schedule, the bus drops everyone off and waits at the Portland airport and the Portland Amtrak Station to pick up its next round of clients. This time, the bus makes the trip in reverse, returning people to their homes or bringing visiting family and friends down south. Arriving at the same motel at 10:30 at night, the bus takes a break only for the night, ready to venture out again the next day.

The Central Oregon Breeze is only closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day and offers a second bus during peak season. The second bus schedule is different, but better for those of us that like to sleep in. Leaving the motel at 11 and arriving in Portland at 3:15.

Rates are low for the quality of service and discounts are offered for minors, students, seniors and active duty military. The normal adult fare is only $ 49 one way and $ 88 round trip. Personally, it would cost me almost $ 100 in my SUV and I trust these drivers more than myself driving over Mt. Hood.

Having used this charter service many times in the past to visit family, I highly recommend them! The drivers are great, the stops aren’t too frequent and it’s a nice, enjoyable ride without having to use your own gas. Getting to Portland or back home has become quite a “Breeze.”

Not many people know the true meaning of what it takes to be the best athlete you can be

Most people think that you need to work out hard, get plenty of sleep, stretch, and eat a proper diet to get into the best fitness you can physically and mentally achieve. I’m here to tell you that they are missing the most important factor of them all, vitamins. I want you to go out and buy vitamins online asap because vitamins ensure that your body can process the daily functions of cells at the maximum potential. If you think I’m joking, check out a vitamin from some online stores and check their ingredients. The bottles say daily values of vitamins therefore it must mean that you need to have the vitamin to get your daily value of the proper nutrition.

What if vitamins don’t work what is the next step?

If vitamins don’t work I’d try some MSM supplement capsules because they are the strongest dietary pills you can take on the market. They essentially fuse to cells and make them super strong and therefore makes you a super strong person. The funny thing is now that I’m so jacked on life I need to take a sleep aid just to get down from my high testosterone cloud. Jacked for life baby.

Every spring a fresh batch of college students apply to become residential advisers next school year. In fact, Housing and Residence Life is one of the areas on college campuses with many job openings for students who want to work in campus. Although, some college students steer clear of applying to become residential advisers, many students apply. If you are a successful applicant who is selected, here are five skills that college students can develop from being a residential adviser.

College students can learn crisis management from being a residential adviser

At some point in the student’s work as a residential adviser, they will have to help manage some kind of crisis. Whether it is a small routine crisis or something significant, residential advisers, learn how to think on their feet. Whether it is managing altercations between roommates or helping to mobilize students through routine issues like fire drills, residential advisers do a lot of crisis management. Residential advisers play key roles in assisting hall directors, security officers or with activities like building evacuations in emergency situations. Residential advisers will often have to interact with other campus departments to help ensure safety, health and wellness of residents.

College students can learn conflict resolution from being a residential adviser

If you have lived in a residential hall, you know that most of a residential adviser’s time could be spent helping residents resolve conflicts. A significant part of residential adviser training on a college campus is how to manage, resolve or escalate conflicts between students living in residential buildings on campus. Many residential advisers will speak to the conflict resolution skills they developed as one of their most important take-a-ways from an experience as a Residential adviser.

College students can learn event planning and organizing from being a residential adviser

Residential advisers on campus are always doing programming. From programming to teach student residents about policies and procedures to activities designed for discussing new issues. College students who become residential advisers can learn how to design programs, plan event logistics such as space and location while managing event budgets. A residential advisers can either work with their designated area of a residence hall or collaborate with other residential advisers to plan events for the entire campus community.

College students can learn leadership skills from being a residential adviser

Imagine the value of including details of being a residential adviser on a college resume or graduate school application? As college students try to set themselves apart from the competition, a job as a residential adviser, especially if you held the job for multiple semesters, can set you apart in the eyes of an employer. Hiring managers will assume leadership skills that can further be developed; time management skills and strong academic skills to manage both the role of a RA and do well in classes.

College students can learn administrative skills from being a residential adviser

If it is one thing a college student will learn for sure from being a residential adviser in a college dorm is about documentation. There are forms for everything from room check reports to sign-in sheets and facility repair issues. There is extensive training given to residential advisers on how to report issues to management staff. Administrative skills like meeting management, timely report filing and clerical work are all a part of a successful residential adviser’s job.

Whitney Houston’s death at the age of 48 has created an outpouring of reactions on Twitter and elsewhere.

Diddy attended Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy gala and said, “Whitney always hit you with that beautiful smile, that incredible energy. Whitney Houston had the greatest voice in the world. We truly lost an angel.”

“Whitney was family to me,” Smokey Robinson told CNN. “I will always love her. She is one of the greatest voices in the history of music.”

At the Cash Money Records party last night, rapper Mystikal called the news “Very sad.” Busta Rhymes told Rolling Stone, “She was my friend.” Rhymes remembered the last time he saw Houston, at a small party with Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz and family. “It was an intimate moment – a friends and family moment. It wasn’t a music gathering. It was getting together after a long work day and enjoying a nice evening.”

Twista Pens A “Whitney Houston Tribute”

Twista pays his respects to the late Whitney Houston with “Whitney Houston Tribute.” Over a Legendary Traxster beat, the Chi-based rapper voices frustration and confusion shared by many.

The details surrounding Houston’s death will slowly trickle out over the next couple of days, but her legacy as one of the most talented voices to grace music has long ago been cemented. There’s really nothing else to say at this point except that she will be missed by millions.

Get to Edinburgh so you can start to enjoy your life, instead of just living it

There are only a few places in this world that I love better than living in the Edinburgh Apartments that are so imfamous that not many people even know they exist. They just think the Edinburgh Apartments are some kind of myth or legend that only the gods at the time of the creation of the planet where able to reside and live happy lives full of joy and glee. They where the last culture that understood the meaning of really thriving to live a joyous life instead of one filled with greed and anger.

What’s it like in Edinburgh? Well it’s rainy and that’s about it but the Edinburgh Apartments are the place to be for the reason that there is no reason other than I’m telling you you should and most definitively get to the place that only the stars get to see. They love the place so much.

Well the one that has been on the internet since 2005 (so you know it’s legit) is the Blue Global Media people who in my book is one of the top affiliate networks in the world. These guys have it all over the globe, in China, Brazil, Latin America, you name it these guys know what they are doing and do it well. They are so good that they are part of Inc500 which is a special ranking of the best 500 companies in the market at this point in time, so to be part of their index compared to all the other crazy companies out there in the tens of thousands, it’s crazy.

They have a crazy deal that if you drive traffic to Blue Global Media as an affiliate you get $100 per lead. That is incredible the skill needed to get a lead and they boil it down to make it easy for you to make some serious cash. I love their Payday affiliate program too. If you are an advertiser then you should discover the most powerful way to reach more customers online. Use these guys they will make your site the best it can be and maybe surpass your expectations.

I’m talking about how bad our country is turning into, I think we should all think about moving to Canada

I’m not even joking. I feel like our civil liberties are quickly approaching extinction with the way we treat our privacy and other aspects of living. I mean every time I go outside I see a cop just patrolling like something is bound to happen and we should all be scared that everyone is out to get us. That’s why I spent the time and found the best Movers in the country to pack up my stuff and allow me to reside somewhere safer. There were tons of Moving Companies but the ones I was especially interested in finding where Toronto Movers. These International Movers where the more epic people imaginable. They came to my house and packed up all of my belongings in a nice neat box because I’m poor and don’t have many things, then proceeded to put the box into the truck and hauled it off into the sunset all the way to beautiful Toronto.

What’s it like up there

It sucks, have you ever seen winter? I never have since I lived in beautiful California. Now I feel like I’m going insane with snow and crap. Get me back to the US!

Parenting was a process that one took up naturally, without any trace of self-doubt; those good old days are virtually passé. As humans, we are blessed with a lifelong sense of nurturing, and this is the very trait that sets us apart from the other species that constitute that animal kingdom. The progress in time brought about a definitive change in our lifestyle, which also called for a change in our outlook towards parenting.

Previously, parenting was always thought of as instinct that you were born with, and you simply had to hone it along the course of life. The adage that ‘parents know best’ was something we always took for granted. Preparing for parenthood was a completely alien concept, because we totally let nature decide the course of our behavior as parents-to-be. Not that it was wrong in any way, but the advent of prenatal classes changed all that.

Originally aimed at young or single mothers, prenatal classes spearheaded the change in the mindsets of many traditionalists who frowned upon the concept of training a mother to be a mother. For young parents, however, prenatal classes were a godsend. Parental classes today are no longer limited to new parents. You have classes that help you deal with a wide spectrum of parental issues like anger management, looking after children with special needs, dealing with bullying or abuse; there are sessions that deal specifically with raising teenagers, and frankly, there isn’t a parent who would refuse help when it comes to interacting with teenagers.

What do Parenting Classes Teach?

♦ The benefits of parenting classes are many, but the best thing about taking one is the amount of confidence it instills in you. You are better equipped to deal with different challenges that parenthood throws at you.

♦ There is a fine line between being authoritative and autocratic. As parents, it often appears blurred. This is one of the main reasons that cause differences. Professional advice in such cases often proves helpful.

♦ Besides emotional issues, you will meet counselors who will address your doubts regarding nutrition, exercise and creating a healthy environment for your children.

♦ Parental classes are a boon for families that include children who are victims of abuse. They have proven to be very useful with recuperation.

♦ Couples planning to adopt a child benefit greatly from parenting classes, since they provide practical advice about parenting, without getting too preachy. It is valuable for new parents, more so with the disappearance of the extended family structures.

♦ As a parent, it is a wonderful experience to be meeting other parents on a platform that works as an outlet for issues that commonly plague them all.

Why Take Parenting Classes?

To begin with, you may be skeptical about parenting class benefits, but just remember that parenting classes do not cast a shadow of doubt on your parenting skills. They simply do the job of honing them. But if you happen to be someone stuck in the age-old school of parenthood, you are sure to raise the following points. The answers include facts that you are already aware of, but tend to believe in them only when you hear them from someone else.

“Am I a Bad Parent?”
Certainly not. On the contrary, good parents are those who accept their mistakes, and reach out for help when they find themselves falling short. They are also in touch with reality, having dispelled all illusions of being the ‘perfect parent’.

“How Will Attending a Class Make It Better?”
These classes are conducted by thorough professionals, who know what they’re doing. With child rearing, you can never be sure of the rights and wrongs, although there is no doubt about the parenting skills that come naturally to you. If nothing else, professional advice will introduce you to a different perspective, won’t it? As a parent, you always want what’s best for your children.

“My Parents Never Took Any Class; I Think I Turned Out Just Fine.”
And thank heavens you did. You would perhaps, remember your parents as being too authoritative for your well-being. Your parenting skills have mostly been imbibed from those of your parents, and they are sure to be good. But with the change in the generation, it calls for a change in the line of thought as well.

“It’s Just a Fad.”
We all know it’s not, and the ones who do are shutting themselves to the obvious. Parenting classes are there to help, and what’s so bad about getting help? Prenatal classes were also a passing fancy once upon a time, but look at the scores of parents who have gained from it.

Keeping the benefits of taking a parenting class apart, as a human, you understand that parenting is not a cakewalk. You can also easily admit that any kind of help is always good. The presence of such interactive platforms is the sign of a healthy society. After all, we do know that life never gives us a second chance. Parental classes not only guide you on how to raise happy children, they also teach you to accept your limitations as a parent and celebrate your triumphs. If you have the means to change your life for better, wouldn’t you rather grab it than rue about having missed your chance?
